NRNA Denmark executive board meeting 18th April

NRNA Denmark executive board meeting was held at Kulturehuset, Copenhagen Denmark on 18th April 2010. The following members and guests attended the meeting.

Agendas and Decisions:

1) Membership distribution: 46 members who duly filled up the membership form and submitted however didnot reconfirmed it by emails will be given one more chance to reconfirm it by emails. The new deadline has been fixed until 22 April 2010 by 17:00 p.m. Hereafter, NRNA Denmark will not accept applications until the general assembly is held. These 46 members will be notified by emails to be sent individually.

2) The general assembly is to be carried out by first week of July 2010.

3) The newly elected executive board after general assembly is held will function or bear the term of office for one year.

4) The present ad hoc committee for executive board has a right to form an election committee. The members for election committee will be selected later by a borad meeting.

5) The executive board meeting has also decided Prabin Prajapati (General Secretary)to be working as an acting president while president Som Nath Sapkota will be visiting Nepal in the end of April 2010 until he comes back to Denmark.

6) 11000 DKK has been allocated to humanity relief fund and will be mobilized according to emergency situation that arises in the future. Under the coordination of President Som Nath Sapkota, the following members, Vice President Mahesh Kansakar, Vice President Deependra Chudal, Uday Raj Gautam (member from Advisory Board) Prakash Dhakal (executive board member) will make a code of conduct for the mobilization of the fund .

7) Under the coordination of Prabin Prajapati General Secretary, NRNA Denmark will distribute honorary members and will collect a fund to run educational projects in Nepal. The code of conduct to mobilize the fund for education projects will be designed by Prabin Prajapati. The members for this program will be selected as per convenience of general secretary. The progress and financial report will be submitted to general assembly meeting.

8) General secretary Prabin Prajapati will coordinate educational and academic programs with Universities.

9) The applicants for the membership by online will be notified to submit forms, photographs and membership fee before May 15, 2010.
